This was such an amazing shoot for a wedding blog. We had a photographer and a videographer capturing every moment of our affection. Totally takes me back to our wedding day and the magic of that time only 10 short months ago. I am so blessed to have this man in my life. Its been over 10 years that I’ve been crushing on him, I guess I deserve it (smile).

TODAYS INSPIRATION | Layout and Print | Layout and Print has been a huge inspiration to me as I chugged my way through design school. I remember just looking at all the amazing design mag’s and wishing that I could one day do stuff like that and my teachers wouldn’t send me back to the drawing board. I feel like design has taken a backwards turn and….

Take a look at these works and let me know what you think! Personally it stirs something inside of me and makes me want to design all night/day. Its just so full of mystery and prestigue. The hard part about designing like this is trying to find the right client. Clients these days are very rigid, business motivated, and sticks in the mud when it comes to branding. I crave projects that I can do whatever I want! Those always come out 100x’s better than those with the style guide set in concrete. Design is taking over! Join the Parade!

Ok Stop Me now! I can’t wait to design!!! Good thing I’m at work and thats what I do:)

DIY Before & After

TODAYS INSPIRATION | Furniture Make-over | I can not believe how amazingly creative my best friends are! They just moved into the cutest cottage houseand decorated it with all DIY furniture!

All of their furniture was so cheap and it makes me so happy because I have been obsessed with making over furniture for years.  A new coat of paint on anything makes it NEW again! Just last summer I went from dark to light for my bedroom and repainted all my frames, vases, furniture white and gave it the beach cottage chic look!

p.s. I am watching Shahs of Sunset and I am balling right now! Such an emotional episode haha (Mustache man saw his father for the first time after 17 years!)

Anyway….. I looked on designsponge.com and found so many amazingly great DIY Furniture ideas! That is where all of this is from! I cant wait to start decorating my new place with my New Husband after August 14th!!! Love these ideas!

TODAYS INSPIRATION | Wedding Photographers | Found this amazing photographer at the BRIDAL FAIR I went to Saturday! FYI: Bridal Fairs are da Beeeest! Free Food, free compliments, and no one can judge you for talking about your wedding too much! Well, I was definately on the look out for Photographers, catering, and flowers.

When I came to Bladh Photography Booth I was sold! She had yellow and white Chevron table liner, pillows, cute flowers, amazing logo, and I loved her pictures. This was my favorite shoot! I want to do pictures just like this! check it out!
