TODAYS INSPIRATION | Love through the Camera | Bryce and I had a mini Engagement shoot last weekend! It was so much fun and absolutely FREE! One thing I’ve learned from planning this wedding is everyone is trying to get their foot in the door with their talent. I went to a Bridal Fair last month and after booking my photographer for $1300  I received an email weeks later from another photographer. I don’t even remember meeting her, but she told me she would love to do so engagement pictures for free. Of course I said YES! Any excuse I can get a shoot I am totally up for it! Here are a few of those! I was really impressed and extremely excited to see them! Let me know what you think!

TODAYS INSPIRATION | Love trumps all | After 2 looong years of dating and breakups, it is finally here! Were engaged! The love was there, but seeing eye to eye wasn’t always. I guess some people BOYS need to grow up a bit:) I am so excited to start a new life with my husband to be August 14th!

You are probably all wondering why I am holding a cute wittle piggly wiggly in my arms and wondering if there is some kind of inside joke or something…. Actually there is no inside joke! haha The fact that I am simply obsessed with baby animals, especially farm animals, gave Bryce the most miraculous idea ever!

After a wonderful date of lighting off lanterns in the sky, sushi, a treacherous drive through a rain storm to Salt Lake, climbing the State Capital building (First kiss location) and a mysterious trip to his aunt’s house, I walked into what could be a dream! A baby Pig with a BIG PINK BOW and a Ring attached waddling towards me! It set of the tear machine instantly! Before I knew what was going on Bryce was on one knee asking if I would spend the rest of my life and eternity with him!!!!

I said YES!

I Can’t Stop Planning

TODAYS INSPIRATION | I can’t stop planning | OK OK I’m not even engaged yet, but I love all the planning for my Wedding August 14th! I am so excited to decorate and pick the colors and find a honeymoon and just relish in all this fun girl stuff! Haha. I’ve had some girlfriends that got married a couple years ago and I remember them stressing out to the max and always unhappy… I personally think all this is so much fun. Maybe its because I’m a type A personality and Designer that it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside to choose table clothes and invitation paper:)

Yellow Brilliance

TODAYS INSPIRATION | Wedding decor | Ok so my taste buds are continually changing and I can’t stop it! Just 3 months ago I was sooo into pinks and whites and creams and lace and crystals etc etc. Now all of a sudden its changed.  I love yellows and corals and navy blues. What to do what to do!

With the Wedding only 4 months away I have already begun my decoration design. I am pretty sure I have it pinned down. Picture this: Soft whites, lace, rustic burlap, twine, shining gold and silver, pop of Yellow stripes to liven the mood, navy blue to give it the cape cod feel, baby breath flowers, sunflowers, meadow, wood, green moss, and cute baby animals:)

The reception is in this amazing Classy rustic Barn and the ring ceremony is going to be held outside among the tall trees, green grass, meadow flowers, and white rose petal path. Here is what I envisioned.
