Today’s Inspiration: “Branding Gone Wild”. Yes, you heard me! Its a branding frenzzy and SAVVY STUDIOS takes the cake! Or might I say cupcake. Any-who, I love this whimsical ‘branding + industrial/interior’ created in this store for CIOCCOLATO! It reminds me of what heaven might look like with all the wonderful sweet treats and delectable pop of colors. They took an idea and splashed it everywhere to make a cohesive design. It looks so .. YUMMY!
Halloween Weekend is here! With the right people it could be best time of the entire year! Exquisite Costumes, silly games, warm apple cider, gooey pumpkin carving and the smell of falling leaves! October is a great month and its sad that it isn’t until the end of the month that we enjoy it at its fullest!

There are so many more that I follow but here are just a few. I coudn’t put them all because it would be never ending! I wish I had time to read every blog every day but sometimes I have to pick and choose what I’m in the mood for. Today I am in the mood for photography and art. I just discovered this blog A restless Transplant and fell in love with the imagery! Pictures speak to me 1000 times more than an entire book could ever. Same with music. When someone is sweetly caressing the piano keys or opening their mouth calling for the angels from above, my eyes close and quietly tear up and Irediscover my love for life.
Art to me has everything to do with life. It is what I am, why I am, and digging deep, what makes me come alive. Relishing in one of my favorite master artists Rembrant (which I am reading a book about right now), the description of seeing through the painted eyes gives more insight then ever to have known the person. It shows the vulnerability, that only by knowing a person for some time, can see. I’m not a master painter, nor own an elaborately expensive camera, but I appreciate and crave the arts of yesterday and today! Renaissance to modern, including blogs and interactive. Its the only thing that keeps me going everyday.

Where else do you get paintings made in blood, a knitted mini cooper, and salsa dancing all in the same place? Yep you got it, the Utah’s Art Festival 2011! I went yesterday with my boyfriend and it was sooo fun. I surprised him, he had no idea where we were going in Salt Lake. We went last year and I remember it being so amazing. I love ART. I am an artist at heart and professionally. Obtaining a Bachelors in Art I definitely dabbed my feet in a lot of different mediums. From oils, watercolors, ceramics, to graphic arts, sculpture, and interior design. I love every form of it at all times, but relish in one or two at each moment.
There were tents and tents lining the sidewalk and grass by the Salt Lake Library. There were stages around every corner with performances so strange yet so inviting. The metal workers, the glass blowers, the painters, the characterist’s, and the FOOOOOD! Loved it. Bryce and I both want to decorate our house (our homes with “whoever we end up with,” lame sauce and somewhat insulting to a girlfriend of over a year to say that) with all our favorite artwork from the show. Some of my favorites include these amazing oversized paintings on canvas with impressionistic swirly complimentary colors that popped out like a lightning bolt to your creativity. Another favorite of mine were these cheesy yet so incredibly functional salt and pepper holders. They were made out of forks and spoons welded together resembling an man standing up holding the shakers with both arms. The artist was making them right in front of us too which made it all the more tantalizing. Bryce enjoyed the landscape photography. He loves the outdoors and mountains and gorgeous scenery. You will see that with the picture I added of him.
Overall it got my taste buds going for more art in my life. I want to do a painting or some sort of creation soon. Recently I spray painted all my picture frames white and silver to match my new design trend of my room. I’m going for the classy chic minimalist look. White furniture, white frames, cream linens, and a dash of blush pink to brighten it up. I am obsessed with all the beach cottage blogs where luscious fabrics and soft colors warm your heart.

Don’t you just love this “shmorgous board” ( not sure how to spell it but love how it rolls off the tongue) of treats and food. I’ve never seen anyhting more beautiful! All my favorite food and colors. I don’t think Ive gone a day in the past 3 years that I haven’t drunken some kind of juice. I crave it like a baby craves a bottle. It’s innate what can I say. The the baby quiche, kill me now those are soo amazing. The doughnut holes the maple bacon the milk with straws the small cake bites AAAAAHHHHH! I want this at my WEDDING!!!! I have to!!!! Already decided:) Along with the gorgeous framed chalk board and draped paisley fabric. Yep Im sold. Found on this blog named the Young Married Chic. Love the name and hope to be that one day:)
Ok so I was born on March 31st, which is this thursday. But all my friends decided to do the ultimate surprise and throw a party a week before my birthday!! I had no idea! Bryce took me out to our favorite spot for dinner (The Malt Shop), the oldest diner in provo. Loved it. Ever played Day and a life of? MEMORIES! So after dinner he took me back to his house to play games with his roomate and a girl. But when we walked into the house and the lights go on I see pure delight! All my best friends screaming happy birthday! Not to mention the cardboard man popping out of a cake! Yes EDWARD from Twilight was their life-size. Cupcakes lined the tables decorated so perfectly I almost shed a tear! I love my friends and my boyfriend, their so sweet to throw me a suprise party! BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE! Here is proof!
What makes a good blogger? I know I always wonder what makes someone want to read your post and then keep coming back for more…. I used to think it was just cool pictures or witty remarks, but after a mere 2 second research on google I realized it is so much more than that.

Im the kind of person that does A LOT of research before starting anything. I want to see what others are doing out there so when I attempt I know what Im doing. Smart right, well to some they don’t need to check out everything else before they dive into their souls and grab onto the first thing that sleekly swims past their hand. I’ve read numerous upon numerous of blogs. One’s that are purely just for fun, others to document their everyday life, there is promoting your business blogs, and my favorite… random informative crap blogs. But what kind of blog is mine?
I thought I was going to do a documentation type, then it turned into what inspired me, and then through more research I’m back to square one. Thats when it hit me… why characterize yourself. Can’t I do everything? Can’t I be unique and main stream at the same time? The answer is YES!
